Last Thursday night (Lakers vs. Celtics game 7 night), I had the pleasure of going to a talk/sketch comedy show called Daheli Live. For those of you who have absolutely no idea of what I am talking about, this is a show that comedian Daheli Hall has put together for the Oprah Winfrey contest where Anty O (as I like to call her) is gonna give some lucky winner a show on her new network. OMG! Can you stand it?! Anyways... Daheli has put together a FUNNY, FASHION FORWARD, and SMART set. She comes out and does these hilarious characters (the first lady aerobic arm workout had me rolling, ala Michelle Obama), and then she did a really interesting interview with writer/director Nzingha Stewart (you know, the super-cute, super smart former video director, who did my all-time favorite video Bilal's 'Soul Sista', just to name one). BTW Nzingha's outfit was HOT! The L.A.M.B. shoes and short jumper! Oh I was peeping it all! And Miss Daheli was giving us 'Talk Show Chic' all day. I just love her hair too. I'm so looking forward to Lil Mama's Baby being her NEW stylist. It was also Daheli's birthday, so we wrapped up with a little shindiggin' afterwards. You know I'm always down for a shindig! Needless to say, Daheli is the new comedian 'it' girl in my world.
